We have just finalized an agreement to play in the Beacon Resource Center, 4210 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628 and it is real close to the airport.  We will be having our league play on Tuesdays instead of Thursdays now and the new start time is from 7:30-10:30PM.  The days we will be open are Tue, Thur, Sat and Sun.  The hours for Thur are still being discussed but looks like 3 times a month we will start at 5 and the other at 7:30PM.  This will be cleared up shortly and the Saturday and Sunday hours are 1-5PM unless the church has some big activity going on and needs the space.  They will work with us on this and hopefully it doesn't happen very often.  Our BOD and Dan think this is a good opportunity for the club and the best choice we can make at this time. One other item for the players is we all should bring our own water.

Hello all of our Table Tennis Friends and Fans!!

The drawing for the 1st sheet of Tynergy 05 rubber was held August 27th and won by John Hinkelman! We want to thank everyone for their support throughout this effort.

SBTTC will be raffling off ANOTHER (and the last for now) sheet of Butterfly Tenergy 05 Rubber to help further defer tournament costs for our Juniors. For more details about the rubber please click on the following link:


Tickets are selling for $2 each or 3 for $5 and will be limited to 200 tickets. They will be available on league night at the club or through Steve Betts, Barry Chan, Bob Tollen or Coach Seemiller. So this is an opportunity to get a sheet of rubber while helping our Junior Program gain experience on the tournament floor!!





On July 20th SBTTC is set to rock Four Winds Field as the South Bend Cubbies take on the West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers affiliate).

Steve will have the tickets at Thursday League and would like to distribute them then. He would REALLY like for anyone who has not paid for their tickets to do that on Thursday as well.

Grab anything you have to bring the Cubbies luck!! I will be in my Joe Cool Cubbies shirt carrying my SB Cubbies Rally towel and Mitt.

This is a Monday game with gates opening at 12:05PM and the game starting at 1:05PM.  Included in the $24.00 ticket cost is a lunch buffet and hat. Lunch will be served in the Picnic Garden and is hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, cookies and soft drinks.  The buffet seating will be in the left field Picnic Garden and then the game seats are just down from that or you can stay in the picnic area.

So our day in the sun to sing "Root, Root, Root for the Cubbies!!" is right around the corner!! To be good sports we will also clap if you substitute Whitecaps in the song - Good times await.

The DA Veteran Clinic held on Saturday & Sunday, May 16th and 17th respectively was a huge success.

A total of 31 Veterans attended and were treated to coaching by one of the premier coaches in the country, SBTTC's own Coach Dan Seemiller, Sr.  He was joined by his son Dan Seemiller, Jr. along with club volunteers Steve Betts, Bud Wilson, Bob Tolen, Phil Schmucker, Dion & Dionta Payne-Miller.

Steve & Paul were at the VA Clinic Wednesday afternoon to sign up DA Veterans

for the camp to be held at SBTTC on May 16th & 14th. 

Coach Seemiller has also been working at the Clinic and based on an update from

Wednesday evening they have 33 signed up with a goal of 45.
